The August issue of “Chicago Parent” includes the PANDAS related article Local parents trying to spread word about disorder that changed their lives.
This article features the Nawara family and their 9 year old Charlie. Charlie experienced an onset of unexplained tics that was actually being caused by asymptomatic strep and PANDAS.
Dr. Kovacevic, a Chicago-area PANDAS physician, is also featured.
