Dr. Swedo’s White Paper on PANDAS/PANS is Released!

After a long wait, THE White Paper is out!  To be exact, it is titled “From Research Subgroup to Clinical Syndrome: Modifying the PANDAS Criteria to Describe PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome)”.

Research: Neurocognitive functioning and PANDAS

The research study Neurocognitive functioning in youth with pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcus shows that neurocognitive functioning can be impaired with children who have PANDAS.

Case study: PANDAS and KLS

A new PANDAS related case study has been released titled A case of PANDAS with Kleine-Levin type periodic hypersomnia.
