Daniel Corrigan and Jennifer Toone Corrigan’s four-year-old son, Edward—a happy, outgoing child—began to change from his normal ebullient self. They spent three days at Hasbro’s Children’s Hospital, and none of the doctors found out what was wrong. Things kept getting worse when a friend of a friend told them about PANS, which was an ‘Oh my god’ moment. The diagnosis fit Edward’s insidious personality change, and he was put on antibiotics.
