Many doctors haven’t heard of PANDAS, while others in the medical community remain split on whether it’s even real, making diagnosis and treatment challenging. Two families share their stories of watching their normal, healthy children develop severe OCD symptoms, eating disorders and anxiety following strep infections. Their search for answers outlines just how much the stigma associated with this disease negatively impacts the road to recovery for many children with PANDAS.
