Parenting a Neurodivergent Child Is Hard!

Parenting is difficult, even under the best circumstances. But parenting a child with a neurodivergent diagnosis—such as PANDAS—can be even more challenging. Many parents of children with PANDAS struggle with feeling inadequate, guilty, stressed, ashamed, worried, angry, disappointed and overwhelmed. Self-compassion is an effective way to deal with the difficult feelings that inevitably arise when parenting a neurodivergent child.
